I found the hotel to be a great find in Thornbury and A38, offering large comfortable beds at a very good price for the area. It's an ideal location between Bristol and Gloucester, perfect for a stopover or exploring nearby attractions. However, the noise level from other guests was a bit of a downside.

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms, although small and not very warm, were okay for the price I paid for an executive double at £125. The condition of the room was not perfect, with bubbling plaster and shabby towels, but I managed with the cheap coffee and biscuits provided.
